Oooh, look, a Blibbering Humdinger!
Mamma: Jag förstår inte riktigt, vad var det du svarade på när du skrev att man ska lyssna på dig alltid för du vet alltid bäst?
I was thinking about something. You know how celebrities are always talking about how media is twisting and turning every word they say and really sort of turn them into mashed potatoes (celebrities)? I never really understood what makes them think so, because in Sweden, it's never really that bad. Some people might think so, but that's nothing compared to what it is here. There's a news channel here that runs on one of the most popular channels on the best of times every day, and all they talk about is celebrities. And they are three news anchors talking about the celebrities and their every steps, and they analyze everything, arguing about who thinks right and who thinks wrong. Like for instance, they were talking about who the most provocative person is of Lady Gaga, Tiger Woods and Mel Gibson. They spent maybe twenty minutes discussing that, and that particular part has been on at least six times since I turned the tv on, which wasn't long ago. Also about how Portia de Rossi said that she's not going to participate in Dancing with the Stars. I mean, there's only so much you can discuss about that. It is really crazy here and now I understand what hyped people like Angelina Jolie and Robert Pattinson are talking about. Before I came here, I thought they were just being a bunch of whining brats who only complained because they didn't have anything better to say. But media here truly scrutinise people. Klart som freaking korvspad att dem är lite knäppa!
Speaking of scrutinising. Det finns tydligen en skvallerblogg om människor som bor i Nacka av alla ställen. Jag hörde talas om den för någon dag sen för att min kompis hade gått in på den och läst något om sig själv som var helt osant. Helt sjukt! Jag läste allt vad den där bloggen har skrivit och även om det inte är många i min ålder som de hittar på saker om, utan mest 96:or och 97:or (jag är 93:a), så finns det några som jag antingen känner eller vet vilka dem är. Vem sjutton är intresserad utav vad Johanna Lindström, 13 år, bor i Nacka, hade för sig lördagen den trettonde mars 2008? Ingen förutom hennes familj och kompisar vet vem hon är liksom. Hur sjutton har den bloggen fått 200 besökare? Den bloggen är den mest bisarra blogg jag någonsin läst. Den heter nackagossip.blogspot.com.
